RI AL
Hello. Can anyone help me identify this note? My first guess would be Hungary, but I can't seem to find a 5 forint bill that matches this description. Croatia also used the "Forint" denomination but there is no listing there. Then I thought, Austrio-Hungary but there is no listing with a forint denomination in Standard Catalog of World Paper Money..Above the serial number it says, Buda-Pest, September 1, 1848, which brings me back to Hungary...but who knows. Thanks! RI AL.
