BigNorange
Anyone know what these are. There's no date on them. They are stamped American Bank note company. Also I have some swiss franc notes dated 1996 and some 10 pound notes from the bank of england. Also some cccp notes from 1960 and 1993 are any still worth anything. They all have that what looks like rusty water on them Thanks

zoins
Looks like a nice design. I've found banknotes.com to be very useful as a reference site. Here's their pic of MX-59:
lettow
The date on the Mexico note is in the lower left. It appears as 20-VIII-58. This stands for August 20, 1958. This is a European system for dates where the month is identified in Roman numerals.
Scott B
Anyone know what these are. There's no date on them. They are stamped American Bank note company. A number of the old plates from the American Banknote Company have been sold in auction by H.R. Harmer. They are selling their archive of obsolete banknotes, stock certificates, and other numismatic-related printing plates. I think the plates for these Mexican notes--which have been demonetized--have either been auctioned or are slated for a future auction.
