Good evening.

 

You have been very kind to help me out with my paper money "collection" as I am a coin guy and not really into paper. Still, I am organizing, splurged for the "Standard Catalog" series and trying to identify notes that I got ...somehow...somewhere...

 

I have several that I can't quite figure out, and if I am not being a nuisance, I would very much appreciate help.Please let me know if I am "over extending my welcome".

 

I know this is from Canada, but I am having trouble determining if it is a #17 or #18. How dies one tell the difference?

I puzzled over this for a bit as I couldn't see a clear distinction in Stand. Cat. of World Paper Money where 2 different types are listed. I'm grateful for your time and knowledge!!
