Coins have histories.

Hi, I'm new here and a coin collector considering starting a small collection of Confederate currency. Canceled notes are within my budget. Are canceled Confederate notes considered severely damaged in the way that a coin with a hole is considered severely damaged? Any advice is appreciated. Sincere Thanks, Don

Hi Fenntucky Mike, Thanks very much for the response. I'm glad to know that! I've seen these notes starting at $15 each. What a great way to own a piece of over 160 yr. old history! I haven't found much information concerning canceled CSA bills to determine value, but at $15 it sure seems to be a bargain! Definitely not something for investment as I assume the canceled notes do not go up in value. Thanks again for sharing your knowledge with me. Respectfully, Don
