2003 Cleveland District with two leading zero's, one of which is a "bookend note".
I had a pair with four leading zero's, a pair with three leading zero's and thought that I would include a pair with two leading zero's. From the information that I have found, The first Cleveland run consisted of a run of 10,000 sheets of 32 notes per sheet, for a total of 320,000 notes. The production run was in October of 2004. This pair of star notes were taken out of a shrink-wrapped brick of notes from the BEP. They were in a brick of notes from series 2003, Boston Federal Reserve. I do not know why they were not consecutive, as they were the last two notes in the strap. I have a few other Cleveland pairs that are not consecutive. Usually the notes that I obtain are consecutive. Would be interested in hearing if anyone knows why this happened.
