I am very new to collecting coins and have a lot of questions.

I have had an interest in coins/stamps since my first JR stamp collection set and have just recently began to pursue this interest. I would like information on topics such as; " how to determine when a coin is worth getting graded, considering the cost of the service vs the value of the coin.

I have picked up quite a few gems of wisdom just reading the message posts and I appreciate the e-bay advice it saved me some dollars last evening as I usually go by the sellers percentages of overall satisfaction and do not read the actual comments.I have interests in silver dollars and pennies and I have thus far not purchased anything worth the costs I paid for it so I guess I am a sucker, but I guess most of us where at one point or another.
