Just back from grading. I'm sending this back to PMG to get the notation changed from "Cutting Error" to "Misalignment Error". I'm curious how this type of error happens in this day and age of computerized inspection. I haven't seen this type of error since the 90's.

I won this lot in the Lyn Knight Memphis sale last night, I have a reverse change over pair, now I have a forward change over pair to go with it. If only the one missing note was there it would have had both a forward and reverse pair. The photo is from the catalog, which shows the progression well.

Just curious. Why are serials that reflect called "radar" instead of palindrome or mirror numbers??? I understand "radar" is a palindrome but that seems a bit facile.
I will wait for the answer. I wonder why "radar" too.
