I have a 1977 five dollar bill with parts of a front printed on half of the back.

I was told I should have it graded.

I'm not sure of what level I need and what level subscription.

Also not sure of value.

Should I purchase a plastic envelope?

Thank you for your time?

Hello @G GriffThank you for contacting us. We are excited to hear you are considering sending your note to us for grading! While I would love to assist you with determining how much it would be to submit your notes to us for grading, our grading tiers/fees are determined by the potential value of your note. Unfortunately, PMG does not value notes, so you would need to do a little research on your end to make that determination. Grading fees, services, and current turnaround times are located at PMG grading fees

Once you've reviewed our fees, if you are still interested in submitting notes for grading, you can become a paid member of Collector's Society HERE or submit the notes through an authorized PMG dealer. If you do not wish to sign up for membership, you can find a listing of authorized PMG dealers at PMG Dealers. You can find more information on how to start submitting notes online at How to submit.  Please do submit the note in
a non-PVC mylar sleeves.

If you have any other questions, please let us know.  Thank you!
