ADDING MORE NEW PMG GRADED NOTES
This is the first time that four collectors in the PMG Collectors Society Registry have gather a total of more than one thousand notes each covering all the denominations of Fractional Currency, Confederate State, Large and Small Size Gold and Silver Certificate, United States, along with the Federal Reserve small size notes and World notes within all sets. This is an outstanding achievement for any currency collector, along with the years it has taken to gather the notes and have them graded or purchase a pre-graded notes from a dialers, shows or conventions and to add the images and descriptions for each of completing notes within their sets. To date only one winner of the PMG Registry Awards with over one thousand graded notes within all their sets.
I am working on my next two submissions to PMG for grading, it will cover some of the missing notes within my one dollar existing Small Size Federal Reserve note sets. I have a total of 1,990 notes within all of my sets and of that 1,098 or 55% are one dollar SSFRN, with the next two submissions one with twenty-five notes and other with only five notes, this will fill in some of the missing notes in the one, two, and five dollars sets. AS the series of 2013 notes come available from BEP they will be added. This will be the first collection to reach two thousands plus notes mark, the same as Black Bird collection was the first to reach the one million plus points in a single collection.
Updated May 25, 2016 - I am adding MORE pre-graded notes to my ten and twenty dollars notes sets. New count will be 1,994 notes within all sets. The first one of two submittal is in at PMG for grading of four one dollar and one two dollars notes.

THE COLLECTORS SOCIETY - HAS UPDATE THE NOTES SETS WITH THE ADDITION OF 2013 SERIES NOTES
Over this past year The Collector Society has updated and corrected all of the Small Size Federal Reserve Notes sets and has added new notes to all of the denominations sets. But most of the work has been on the One Dollar notes sets with the addition of mules and back plate error notes along with the addition of the 2013 series notes printed by both the Washington DC and Forth Worth Facility. With the addition of the mules and the back plate error notes such as the 1974 FR #1908 with the 905 back plate error and the 1985 FR #1913 with the 129 back plate error were added to the One Dollar Federal Reserve Note - District Set with Stars and Varieties, this set now reflex the notes that are in the PMG graded notes within the population report. Also the Collectors Society have added and corrected the other sets and updated the scoring for the newly added star designation notes. Over this year (2016) you will see more changes to all of the Small Size Federal Reserve note sets. Also over the next two years we may see a change in the addition of a 2013A notes with a change of the Treasure of the United State or the Secretary of the Treasury.
Take a look at this Set Type: $1 Federal Reserve Note - District Set with Stars and Varieties, you will see the latest addition to the set. Within this district master set, there are 282 PMG-66E, 116 PMG-67E and 13 PMG-68E. Also within this set there are 42 RARE notes with a score ranging from 250 to 2500 points and three notes with a PMG-66 EPQ* star designation. Also only 48 out of 620 notes were purchase from a coin or currency dealer in a PMG holder, all other were from bank notes or from various current dealers and were sent in to PMG for grading. The remaining 4% or twenty two notes will be the hardest to fine graded or ungraded. The first change will be the addition of three new 2013 FR #3001-H, FR #3002-A and FR #3002-F* star. It had taken four year to build this One Dollar Master set and my take another four more to complete this set. Within the three One Dollar District Sets there is a total of 1,021 graded notes. Over the last seven years I have added a total of 1,946 notes, of that 1,941 notes are within all the sets.
This has been a very good year for the Small Size Federal Reserve notes and 2016 will be better.
Updated January 20, 2016 - The Journal Entry should be used to inform the members of the Collectors Society an add information to help the membership and share your notes and the love of the hobby. I have over the last six years to cover the Small Size Federal Reserve Notes and inform members of changes, upcoming notes and correction to the sets and help make correction to the scoring system, along with the addition of mules and back plate error notes. This series of small size notes will be with the American people for a lone time. As a collector I can not afford the price of sum of the large size notes or the gold series notes. This is away new members can start with notes from 1963 series to the present at a affordable price. The same way we all started with a penny collection or other US Mint coins.

PMG REWORKED THE SCORING TO ADD THE STAR DESIGNATION

We all woken to a big point lost on June 19, 2014The Society just updated all the small size FRN and other notes to add the STAR designation to the sets, they lower most of the existing note score by seven to ten points for each note, within all my sets this was a total lose of 8,742 points in my sets. I have a total of 1,556 notes within al my sets. The Society remove points for most of the existing notes, there are tens of thousands of existing notes. The score should be left the same and add points for new STAR designation. At this time there are no counts of STAR designation within the population report. They need to rethink this scorings to the system; the collector should not be penalized at this time for this new designation. You can see the changes by checking the HISTORY section, you will see the notes that were reduced on June 18, 2014, also you can open the slot description to see both the updated poins and the new points for the STAR designation.Updated on August 9, 2014, PMG added the STAR designation to the population report to show the number of star for each notes.New update on April 7,2015, the main change was the same point scoring in all sets.To see old comments for this Journal entry, click here. NEW 2013 JACK LEW $1 DOLLAR NOTE
I have check the US Bureau Of Engraving and Printing (BEP) web-site and the new one dollar notes are in the printing stage, and will be printed on 32 subject note sheet and the 50 subject note sheet. BEP show the layout of the note position identifier on the upper lift hand side of the note next to the district number. As noted by BEP - Fifty-subject and 32-subject notes are distinguishable by one minor technical change. On a 50-subject produced note, the letter and number of the alpha numeric note-position identifier, is the same font size and smaller than the alpha letter of the 32-subject note. In comparison, on the 32-subject note, the number is a smaller font size compared to the letter.

FRN - HERITAGE AUCTIONS - LESSON LEARN
As notes in my last jonrnal that I am down sizing my collections, with Heritage Auctions handling the sale of my small size notes collections of fives, tens, twenty, fifty and hundreds dollars small size notes sets, all of the notes are PMG graded. The auction is over and a lesson learn, make sure that you put a reserve on all you notes, that will cover the grading fees and a sale price with 15% of the book listed value. Most of the small size tens, twenty fifty and hundreds dollars notes were sold at face value or a net lost of 35% to 85% of net value listed in Standard Guide to Small Size U.S. Paper Money 10th Edition. Also using the green sheet makes no difference if a note is graded or not. The auction is a good place to sale your notes, but make sure that you make the final desision on the lowest sale price for a set of notes to be sold. I had two set that were sold below face value, seven 2009 $20 dollars notes that sold at $117.00 and four $50 dollars 1981 - 1985 notes that sold for $170.00. Also keep in mine to add a 10% seller commission to all sets or lots.
Heritage Auctions is a good auction house for it layout of your collection, and the way they set up the lots within the catalog.
I will use Heritage Auctions in the future to sale more of my collection, but I will set the price. I am a collector, not a dealer, 90% of the notes I had graded to build up the set, I LOVE the hobby, but I will not give-a-way my work, on building a good set of notes. I have over 875 notes that makeup my one and two dollors collection. I will keep building new set to my collection. I have 390 notes schedule for grading.
Updated on 1/15/14, It good to see some of the notes going to collectors in the registry. I am removing the notes as they are tranfer to other collectors in the registry, to date I have remove 59 notes and 42,763 points from my total score.
