Trump Disses "Harriet Tubman" reworked of the Twenty Dollars bills. The Secretary of Treasury Steve T. Mnuchin is correct when he says the reason for the delaying the long-planned reworked of the Twenty Dollars bill, is that he's got his hands full at this time is fighting counterfeiting. "The New York Times quoted senior Treasury officials as saying that  Mnuchin was worried that Trump might cancel the Tubman bill altogether, so he opted to avoid the inevitable outcry by delaying the release of the bill from next year to 2028". The release date was to be next year, on the 100th. anniversary of the constitutional amendment that acknowledge a woman's right to vote. The information above was in the LOS ANGELES TIME EDITORIAL section on Friday May 24, 2019 an on most of the TV news stations.
As notes in May 2018 ADDING - ONES journal, as notes that the new twenty dollars note would not be issue as long as Trump is in office. This mean that for another eight years, the MINI hall of fame that is the nation's paper currency will continue to be exclusively WHITE and exclusively MALE.
Added on June 6, 2019 - Why not the Native Americans on most of the existing currency, which is most part of the Western existing states. Is this the time to look at new redesigns of all the existing Currency series starting with the Twenty Dollars and then One Dollar thru the Hundred Dollars notes entering the twenty first century? Not just adding a Black or White women but also all the Native Americans, shut as  the American Indian, Eskimo, Hawaiian and the Mexicans American that were added with the area that Mexico ceded to the United States in 1848, the cession consisted of present-day U.S. state it's California, Nevada, Utah, most of Arizona, about half of New Mexico, about a quarter of Colorado and a small section of Wyoming. Also during this same time add Porto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Inlands. We have updated are flag with fifty states, why not the currency to cover all of the people. This could be part of new counterfeiting upgrade for both the front and back of the new small size Federal Reserve Notes series. The new currency could be infused the same way the Silver Certified were remove from circulation over a period of five or ten years.
Added on June 25, 2019 - "Statement from Bureau of Engraving and Printing Director Len Olijar, issue on June 14, 2019 - "The illustration published by the New York Times was a copy of an old Series note with the signatures of former officials, with a different image super-imposed on it. It   is not a new $20 note, as incorrectly stated by the New York Times, in any way, shape or form. The facsimile contained no security features or offset printing included on currency notes. There is nothing about that illustration that even begins to meet technical requirements for the next family of notes." You can see the full statement on BEP website.

Over 2019 you will see this set type “One Dollar Federal Reserve Notes – District Set with Stars and Varieties” change as more new notes are added and with the correction of Mule and Back Plate Error, also the addition of the sheet notes and other BEP issue items. This year, I hope to see the scoring system be completed to remove all of the dual scoring system. Over the last year 2018, with all the changes added up to more than 15 note slots to the sets. You will also see the addition of more 2017 series notes to fill in the open slots as the notes are graded by PMG.
One of the sheet note that need to be added is the 2003 Fr #1928-J sheet note serial number J99910479A in a PMG-67E this should be listed a RARE note with only 14 graded to date and only 471,000 printed with the serial number range 99500801 thru 99971801.

The One dollar Federal Reserve Note – District Set with Stars and Varieties set type, was just updated to add the missing mule (m) and back plate error (bpe) notes to the set. The last change added more note slots count and was change to 704 within the set. As more information and research work is done, the number of notes within this set will be added. Also some of the mule note are BEP sheet note and would need to be added as part of this set and are some of rarest. You will find most of information in Robert Azpiazu book, “Collector’s Guide to Modern Federal Reserve Notes – Series 1963 thru 2009” from Whitman Publishing, it’s also list all of series. This would help you the collector with notes that may not be listed within sets and help you fill in missing notes with in your collection. The SSFRN One Dollar set is one that will change with each new series. As I noted before this is like a penny collection that will change with time or a living set and sum of the later notes can be pick up at your local bank.

The Registry list Disney Dollars as part of sets, but this is not currency and was shut down by Disney and is only a collector items with full valve as normal currency. BEP NEW RUNS - ONE thru HUNDRED DOLLARS NOTES with STARS – NO WOMAN ON THE TWENTY DOLLARS BILL
The closing out of the 2013 series notes, the first printing were in November 2013, could be change out within the next two years with the changing of the existing Treasurer of the United States or the Secretary of the Treasury, the year could be as soon as 2017 or 2020 with the printing delay with the new series notes. The 2013 notes came in under the presidency of Barack Obama’s under his second term, the newly elected president will have a change of appointing a new Secretary of the Treasury and a Treasurer of the United States, after January of 2017 with him being sworn in as the 45 President of the United State of America. Only after the printing on new notes will see if the change made to 2013 will remain or if some changes are made. The first notes were the 2017 $1 dollar currency printed in 50-subject sheet format, but the other were printed on 32-subject sheet.

Also during the same time the new resign twenty dollars notes was to be printed with Harriet Tubman the first African-American woman on United State currency and would replace President Andrew Jackson on the twenty dollars notes. This would be the first woman in more than a century that will appear on US currency. The new designs was to be unveiled in 2018 and go into circulation shortly after the unveiling of the new twenty small size Federal Reserve note.

The currently announced delay could be a precursor to outright cancelation of the Tubman portrait. With Trump in the Whitehouse we will not see a new twenty in the near future with a women’s right to vote. For more information see David C. Harper in May issue Numismatic News.

Small Size Federal Reserve One Dollar Notes Sets
PMG is reworking the District Set with Stars and Varieties. Over the last three months they have updated and made corrections to this set, but more work is needed. PMG have added the FR #1934-K star, removed the 2009 FR #3000-J and added FR #3000-I to the DC block. As of November, my set is at 90% complete with 565 notes, with a total note count of 624 within the set and the first 2013(FW)FR #3001-K star note. At this time 28 notes are schedule for grading.
PMG is working to correct all the one dollar and other sets by adding the missing series of 2009 FR #3000-E DC and 2009 FR #1934-K* star FW note, alone with the new series 2013 FR #3001 FW notes, at this time no DC notes have been printed. UPDATING THE SCORING SYSTEM and CORRECTING THE SETS FOR MULES AND BACK PLATE ERROR NOTES

I am very happy to see the Registry adding and updating the scoring system and also being proactive in adding the new series of 2017 notes as the information is issue by BEP and other website for the notes that have been printed. In this way a collector can see what notes that have been printed an issue by BEP and can picked up a new note as a bank note fine. They also have update the sets with mules (m) and back plate error (bpe) notes for the one dollar sets with stars and varieties and checking with the notes that are existing in the population report. Over the last year they have corrected and changes the scoring for more than hundreds notes and sets. Also at this time you can see the changes made to the scoring over the past six months. They have also added new 2017 sets for the one and twenty dollars notes along with star notes for that series.

The next is for the Registry to correct and update the existing remaining scoring system that stall have some of notes with duel or two difference scores or points for the same note, this was part of the old scoring system stall exist within the system today. This may take some time for the Registry to correct and remove all of the dual scoring.

FIFTY ANNIVERSARY of SERIES of 1963 FRN

This is the best time to start a new Small Size Federal Reserve Note set type collectionBuilding a New Set Type Collections; This is the best time to add an start a new Set Type collection of Small Size Federal Reserve Notes, with BEP changing over from the thirty two subject sheet to new fifty subject sheet for the ones, twos, fives, tens and twenty dollars notes. The 2013 series of notes is the FIFTY ANNIVERSARY of the series of 1963 FRN notes to replace the 1957B Silver Certificate notes. Also if you want to spend a little more money try the Fifty and Hunderd dollars notes. You can pick them up from your local bank; always ask the teller if they have any new money or notes, also checks with your local currency dealer. I have picked up stars and other notes from the bank that have graded out as high as PMG-68 EPQ. This will also help you with your grading of the notes, as to condition, margins or registration centering and no significant handing. You can see all the BEP notes that were printed by month, by going to www.uspapermoney.info for 2013 series one thru one hundred dollars notes. This is way to start from the bottom up of a collection set, starting with 2009 FW/DC and the new 2013 FW/DC series notes. This will keep the cost of the collection low, with only the cost of the notes at face valve plus the cost of grading and shipping them in to PMG using the bulk submssion level. Also take a look at one dollar Federal Reserve Note - District Set with Stars and Variesties. There are thirty-eight slots description for the 2009 Fr #1934 FW, Fr #3000 DC and 2013 Fr #3001 FW, Fr #3002 DC. I will add the new New York B2 star notes, they are in PMG for grading.Updated on July 2, 2015 - BEP had just added the following notes to 2013 DC notes, they are the Fr #3002-B, B star, Fr #3002-F, F star and the 2013 Fr #3001-G star and Fr #3001-L and L star.Updated on July 13, 2015 - I just pick up twenty new 2013 Fr #3001-L from by local B of A today, the notes will grade out as good as PMG-66 EPQ or better.Updated on August 16, 2015 - The new 2013 New York Fr #3002-B star notes came back from PMG and grade out at PMG-66 E for all three. The next One Dollar Notes are the 2013 Fr #3001-L FW that I pick up at Bank of America and 2013 Fr #3002-B DC are set for grading. NEW 2013 JACK LEW $1 DOLLAR NOTE
I have check the US Bureau Of Engraving and Printing (BEP) web-site and the new one dollar notes are in the printing stage, and will be printed on 32 subject note sheet and the 50 subject note sheet. BEP show the layout of the note position identifier on the upper lift hand side of the note next to the district number. As noted by BEP - Fifty-subject and 32-subject notes are distinguishable by one minor technical change. On a 50-subject produced note, the letter and number of the alpha numeric note-position identifier, is the same font size and smaller than the alpha letter of the 32-subject note. In comparison, on the 32-subject note, the number is a smaller font size compared to the letter.

They are working to correct this series and them to the One Dollar District Set with Stars and Varieties Set.

Building a New Set Type CollectionsThis is the Fifty Anniversary of the 1963 series of Small Size Federal Reserve Notes, as more new 2013 series notes are coming out of BEP, PMG is updating all the sets to add the new notes for all denominations sets. A TOTAL OF 2,004 PMG GRADED NOTES IN ALL SETS
This is the first collection in the PMG Collectors Society Registry with a total of more than two thousand notes covering some of the denominations of Large and Small Size Gold and Silver Certificate, United States and along with the Small Size Federal Reserve Bank Notes within all of the various sets.
This had taken eight years to gather the notes and have them graded or purchase a pre-graded notes from a dialer, show or conventions, also to start adding some of the images and all of the descriptions for each of completing notes within their various sets.
I have a total of 2,004 notes within all of my sets and of that 1,103 are 55% are one dollar SSFRN, with the next two submission of twenty-five notes that will fill in some of missing notes in the one, two and five dollars sets and the second with four new 2013 Fr #3001-G star.

FRN - HERITAGE AUCTIONS - LESSON LEARN
As notes in my last jonrnal that I am down sizing my collections, with Heritage Auctions handling the sale of my small size notes collections of fives, tens, twenty, fifty and hundreds dollars small size notes sets, all of the notes are PMG graded. The auction is over and a lesson learn, make sure that you put a reserve on all you notes, that will cover the grading fees and a sale price with 15% of the book listed value. Most of the small size tens, twenty fifty and hundreds dollars notes were sold at face value or a net lost of 35% to 85% of net value listed in Standard Guide to Small Size U.S. Paper Money 10th Edition. Also using the green sheet makes no difference if a note is graded or not. The auction is a good place to sale your notes, but make sure that you make the final desision on the lowest sale price for a set of notes to be sold. I had two set that were sold below face value, seven 2009 $20 dollars notes that sold at $117.00 and four $50 dollars 1981 - 1985 notes that sold for $170.00. Also keep in mine to add a 10% seller commission to all sets or lots.
Heritage Auctions is a good auction house for it layout of your collection, and the way they set up the lots within the catalog.
I will use Heritage Auctions in the future to sale more of my collection, but I will set the price. I am a collector, not a dealer, 90% of the notes I had graded to build up the set, I LOVE the hobby, but I will not give-a-way my work, on building a good set of notes. I have over 875 notes that makeup my one and two dollors collection. I will keep building new set to my collection. I have 390 notes schedule for grading.
Updated on 1/15/14, It good to see some of the notes going to collectors in the registry. I am removing the notes as they are tranfer to other collectors in the registry, to date I have remove 59 notes and 42,763 points from my total score.
