I got these today from a fellow board member, never realized how thin the paper on the 1862 was, feels like confederate money!
-
Thanks Dean! I just got it in the mail last week and I only wish the face was as nice as the back! Still, it'll make a nice pair with my 1923 $5 porthole!

I like it, and it has the highest serial number I've ever seen!
-
Nice additions muleman! Hard to tell what that national would grade from the photo (especially only the front) but I would say it's VG, maybe F.
-
Today in a survey I got a series 2003-A deuce from the Cleveland Fed, not bad for free.
-
I like it!
-
I was able to see all of them when clicking on the links, but listen to bsshog40, he know what he is doing!

Well that should have worked, but it didn't, so I'll have to leave it to the more tech saavy among us.

I will try to help, if you click on the reply button (not the fast reply window at the bottom of the page), you will come to a separate page for your reply. Directly above the window where you type the reply on that page, there are 15 buttons. Click the third button, between the envelope button and the bullet point button. That should open up a window where you insert the web address for the photo. Click OK and it will automatically insert the proper HTML code into the message to display the photo. I will try it here with your last photo.

Welcome to the forum! You can attach a photo when making a post, but there are size limits, otherwise if the photo is house on a webserver, you can insert an image using a link to the web address (in the post window it is the third button next to the one that looks like an open envelope). Not sure if this is much help, but I am not much of a techno guru.

Sweet treasury note Muleman!

Nice notes everyone, I am not familiar with Canadian notes, what makes those three so valuable?

Boiler, why do I always get depressed when you post your newps after I post mine? Absolutely stunning additions, one of your newps could easily equal or exceed my entire collection!

This one arrived in yesterday's mail:
-
No, the embossing is quite good and it clearly has a couple folds that can be seen most easily from the back when you hold it at an angle. The face looks better as the folds are not as noticable when you look at it head on.

I picked this one up at a local show today:
-
Very interesting!

Nice $5 FRN Cladiator, and really nice tombstone Jeff!
-
Nice Battleship Jeff!!!
-
Very cool continental note! I just picked up this one today, these are the seller's pics:
-
Yours looks to be a VF/XF, I checked eBay, and there was a similar looking one to yours that sold on 8/20 for $153.50, so I would probably put it in that range.

Wow that is nice Ant!!! Large size star notes are not at all common!
-
Very Nice note!
