    Afterword, those are awesome looking silver and gold certificates. I love the artistry of the older currency. I can't decide which 1899 denomination I like best.

     

     

     

    Right, it is the artistic quality of these older notes that make them special. I find them impossible to resist.

     

     

     

    I bought Paper Money of the United States (20th edition) this weekend at a show so I could learn more about our currency.

     

     

     

    Should prove to be an interesting read.
